There are many schools of Jiu Jitsu that have helped make it popular today which primarily focus on the sports application of techniques and competition. At Elite Martial Arts & Extreme Fitness, unlike other schools, our Jiu Jitsu program is close quarter combat oriented. Because of the eclectic nature of our Jiu Jitsu program, it is uniquely designed to meet the self-defense needs of our civilian students and the combative training requirements of our professional government or military service students.

Our Jiu Jitsu program integrates the joint locks, breaks, throws, and ground movements of traditional martial arts such as Karate, Aikido, Kung Fu, and Judo along with short weapons (knives, improvised weapons). In addition to the physical training techniques, students are also taught martial arts theory, history, philosophy, and core values in a practical method to prepare them physically, mentally, and spiritually for any situation they may encounter in their everyday lives.
